ECT4Health has designed a 5-day program to prepare you for some of the challenges of working in rural and remote locations and aims to provide you with the confidence to explore these work opportunities.

This workshop will provide information on chronic and acute presentations, as well as primary health care and considers the needs of a nurse in a rural or remote setting. This will include emergency presentations and chronic health conditions.

There is no competency component to this workshop, it will be up to the individual nurse on completion of this workshop to determine their scope of practice.

This will be a great opportunity to network with other nurses about to embark on rural and remote contracts and form supports with like-minded colleagues.
