Alaska Cruise 3rd -10th May 2025 Departing Seattle

It's time to venture into the northern hemisphere and see a very special part of the world – Alaska. This is a place of wonder and wilderness with nature in its purest form. The rich culture of the Alaska Native people adds to the beauty of this unique place. Holland America is renowned for its Alaskan cruises and its expertise in navigating these waters. This 7-day cruise leaves Seattle and travels through the inside passage to Juneau. This is the capital of Alaska despite having no roads leading to it due to the surrounding mountainous terrain. All transport to Juneau is via plane or ship. It’s a great city to explore and discover more about the 3 main local indigenous groups and view some of the incredible wilderness. The next destination is Sitka, a beautiful place with an exciting mix of Russian and Tlingit history. Nature abounds in Sitka, and the Tongass National Rainforest and a dormant volcano are nearby. This cruise also explores the incredible Glacier Bay. It is hard to describe this place in words…spend the day on deck looking at the incredible scenery and wildlife and enjoy the narration from the team on board the ship. Another port of call is Ketchikan. Known as the salmon capital of the world, this town is rich in culture and a great place to explore on foot. This cruise really does explore such a unique part of our world. Before returning to Seattle, the final port is Victoria – a city on the rugged Pacific Northwest coastline with British influences. The education on board will focus on 3 key areas - Diabetic Complications, Wound Care update, and Sepsis Management and will run on mornings at sea only. Our rooms on board the Eurodam are premium midship rooms, and your costs include all taxes and administration fees.
